Lynn Gibbons Blankenship has been the matriarch at

Lynn Gibbons Blankenship has been the matriarch at their family run Dayspring Farm in Altamont since her and her husband Charles began it in 2013. After a thirty-year hiatus from farming, they wanted to return to nature to be stewards of the land.

Proud members of Pick TN Products and partnering with organizations like the @amergrassfed and the US Soil Conservation Service, this caring woman has always been taking care of others, humans and animals.

Lynn who worked as a nurse at Vanderbilt University, a mother of three and grandmother, she now enjoys nurturing their grass-fed herds amongst their beautiful rolling pastures, growing in their garden, making preserves, and of course loving on all the critters that cross her path including their farm dogs (who have a whole page on their website - as they should).

Read more about their story, pups and products at their website then stop by their booth, operated by her daughter Christia and son-in-law Rich, to snag any of her grass-fed ground beef, steaks, roasts, brisket, short ribs or bones.

A huge, heartfelt thank you to all our customers and vendors for navigating the layout changes last week. We are always working towards making our year-round, outdoor grocery experience the best it can be. That being said, we would like feedback regarding the layout, merchandise, this newsletter or anything market-related you'd like to share.

Our On-Site Supervisor (Maddie or Lara) at the Market Info Booth has a physical map so stop there if you're looking for a vendor. You can also ask your vendor where your next stop is located, as we can all navigate the newness together.

🚙 Reminder: Parking further back in our lot, away from the bottle neck of the entrance, can provide accessibility with less traffic.

🚗 Remember, if you’re just stopping in for milk, park on W. 19th St. (Yes, it’s free to park during the market!)

🚙 If you’re here to grab more than dairy, be sure to pull further back into our parking lot to avoid the bottleneck entrance.
