Sale Creek Honey Co.

This has been a most unusual spring for the honeybees. May is usually the best month of the year down here in the valley, but not this year. The too frequent rains that month kept most of the nectar washed out of the flowers. Consequently very little honey was produced this spring. What little honey I have harvested is not of the best quality. It is possible I might sell some of it at a later date as bakery grade honey, or I may just feed it back to the bees. Since it has a high moisture content which could cause it to ferment, I am going to wait to see if that happens before I sell any of it. Since it has stopped raining so often, things are looking better, but as always everything is dependent on the weather in the next few weeks. I wish I had better news, but that is where things stand at the moment.
