We've got them by the dozen, half dozen, flat or 18 count. Unwashed, unrefrigerated and much loved. Be sure to get a rewards card punched and you'll get a dozen free eggs after you accumulate a dozen punches.

Hoe Hop Valley:

We will return next week with the first batch of Fresh Spring Chickens. These will be young small hens and will sell out fast, so feel free to reserve by emailing walterjbates@gmail.com We will also have this seasons maple syrup and a selection of pastured pork.

We will have pork along with some specialty pork items such as porkbelly, rump roast and ham steaks. Our Week End Getaway package is $20 for a lb of sausage, 2 pork chops and a dozen eggs. We will have lard, sweet grass and our organic eggs. In addition, we are starting to debut our vegetables and will have basil and specialty lettuces this week.

Possum Bottom Farms will be at the Main Street Farmers Market Farmers Market. This week we're bringing a huge crop of log grown shiitake, along with elm, golden, blue and Italian oyster mushrooms, lions mane and chestnut mushrooms! We'll also have lots of oyster, golden oyster, and lions mane powder available to tempt your taste buds and stimulate your umami. We'll have pre-inoculated shiitake logs available if you'd like to try growing gourmet mushrooms. It's going to be a beautiful day. Come on out to the market, meet the farmers and get your fungi on!

All picked fresh and available to you in hours, not days! This week we're debuting our golden oyster mushroom powder! If you like the tangy flavor of our golden oyster mushrooms you're going to love golden oyster powder! We'll also have our regular oyster powder available, and maybe shiitake, too. As always, we'll have lots of free recipes and guidance to help you make the most of your mushrooms. It's definitely going to be nippy at market time, but at least the sun will be shining!
