Sale Creek Honey Co.
This is just a note to say that I plan to have my booth at the market sometime in October. As I said previously, we did not harvest much honey in the spring because of the excessive amount of rain in May.
Some of the honey that was harvested will have to be fed to the colonies that have not produced enough to see them through the winter. The summer crop was all from the sourwood trees. I have standing orders for sourwood honey going back to the 1980’s. I am rationing it out, even to those folks, so that I will at least have some to take to the Main Street Farmer’s Market. When I decide what date I will be there, I will update this newsletter.
